Quotes from Will Smith and Jada Pinkett about Love and Marriage

Whether you approve of Will and Jada’s approach on marriage, you can’t deny that they are making it happen with or without our approval. Here are some quotes from them on love and their marriage.

Will ON THE KEY TO DOMESTIC BLISS: "Really, really good sex. I'm really good at it. (Also) we talk a lot. Sometimes people hear us talking and think we over-talk situations but communication is everything."
JADA: "I will throw my career away before I let it break up our marriage. I made it clear to Will. I'd throw it away completely."

Will ABOUT JADA: "With Jada I stood up in front of God and my family and said, 'till death us do part'. Divorce cannot be an option ... I honestly believe there is no woman for me but Jada. No-one can handle me the way she does ... Once you feel someone locked in on you, it's no contest. This is it. I can't imagine what anyone else would offer."

WILL: "Families are like a business. The key is one person having a vision of what it needs to be and being able to pull everyone together. That's Jada for sure."

Will ABOUT JADA: "She's someone I can talk to about anything."

  1. I luv Will and Jada. I think they're an admirable couple.

  2. See this is a good model of a working and funtioning relationship. There may be this that go awry every now and again but at the end of it all they always seek to find out the others' position before deciding...

  3. I guess his first marriage was an exception @ "...Divorce cannot be an option ..."

And although I commend them on having a long-lasting marriage, [because of some of the things I've read about them] I can't help but think it's a little contrived and by no means do they fit the mold of what I consider to be a good marriage. *shrugs*

  4. People are always quick to judge others, but we all make mistakes and the best lessons are learned from your own mistakes.

  5. Anti Social Just a ques. About the statement" ..... @ Anti Social
Just a ques. About the statement" ... Divorce cannot be an..." could that not be a learned experience, see when you speak on a topic that you have no personal connection with, its just AIR headed advice (with some good intention at best)but when you speak from a source of experience your words now carry wait.
So yes divorce is not a option for THEM because thats' something communicated (couple talking). The next question is since every couple has to work at THEIR communication skills how is this not a perfect mold for communication and understanding? meh!
